| AAFP Physician Accreditation | Physician Accreditation - This activity is reviewed for up to 10 Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to the AMA PRA equivalent to the AMA PRA category 1 credit toward the AMA Physicians Recognition Award. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. |

Following this course, the participant should be able to recognize and describe the typical etiology of the Gynecologic disorders presented; apply improved diagnostic methods and ordering of tests in the Primary Care office and choose the appropriate treatment and drugs for commonly seen GYN disorders as well as identify treatment failures vs. recurrence. • Hormonal Contraceptives: Good, Bad and Controversial • Anemia – A Finding, Not Yet a Diagnosis • Osteoporosis: Diagnosis and Treatment • Migraine Headaches – Update on Diagnosis and Treatment • Evaluation and Initial Management: Benign Breast Disease • Treatment of Sexually Transmitted Infections • Venous Thromboembolism (VTE): Diagnosis and Treatment • Adult Health Screening and Immunizations – EBM • Use and Interpretation of Thyroid Tests. Paris The City of Lights!
Paris remains one of the most visited places on the planet. Travelers, of course, come to revisit Paris and the glorious past, as reflected in its art and architecture, but they are also intrigued by this City of Lights with the cutting-edge style, cuisine, and fashion.
Ernest Hemingway called the many splendors of Paris a - moveable feast- and wrote,\"There is never any ending to Paris, and the memory of each person who has lived in it differs from that of any other.\" It is this aura of personal discovery that has always been the most compelling reason to come to Paris. Perhaps that is why France has been called le deuxième pays de tout le monde (everybody\'s second country).
Louis Pasteur Institute and Museum - Louis Pasteur was a scientist who successfully developed the first anti-rabies vaccine in 1885 and this museum in Paris is installed in the south wing of the Institut Pasteur where he stayed for the last seven years of his life until he died in September of 1895. A tour of the Institut Pasteur and Museum is organized for the program participants and their family. Transportation to the Institut is not included.
