Greenbrier Resort/West Virginia - The Greenbrier Resort

Few places in America carry the legacy of The Greenbrier. Since 1778, this legendary luxury resort nestled in the Allegheny Mountains has welcomed presidents, royalty, and generations of families, earning its title as America’s Resort. Step inside and you’ll find yourself surrounded by the iconic Dorothy Draper interiors, grand ballrooms, and timeless elegance that have made it one of the most celebrated resorts in the country. Enjoy the fresh mountain air, lush lawns, and 11,000 acres of resort grounds for you to explore. Tee it up on one of the resort’s celebrated golf courses, unwind at the world-renowned mineral spa, spend an afternoon at the pools, or try something unforgettable like falconry, horseback riding, guided fly fishing, or an off-road adventure. Beyond the resort, discover the natural beauty of West Virginia with scenic hiking and biking trails, the breathtaking landscapes of Monongahela National Forest, or a day trip to New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, where dramatic mountain views, whitewater rafting, and the iconic New River Gorge Bridge await. Explore the charming historic streets and boutiques of nearby Lewisburg, venture underground at Lost World Caverns, or take a memorable ride aboard a historic steam locomotive through the Appalachian Mountains. Don’t miss a guided tour of the once top-secret Cold War bunker hidden beneath the hotel, then cap off the evening with exceptional dining and a visit to the iconic Casino Club. Whether you’re seeking outdoor adventure, relaxation, history, or simply an unforgettable mountain escape, The Greenbrier offers a truly bucket-list experience.
