Contraception for Women with Medical Conditions
Objectives 1) Describe how to engage in conversations with patients with medical conditions about the health risks of pregnancy and formulating reproductive life plans 2) Explain how to utilize the US Medical Eligibility Criteria and Selected Practice Recommendations for Contraception, 2024 as a basis for recommendations and practice 3) Incorporate method failure rates 4) List options to offer those with common medical problems, such as diabetes, hypertension, migraine headaches, high BMI, etc.
Practical Treatments of Perimenopause and Menopause
Objectives: 1) Counsel women about the endocrinologic changes that occur during perimenopause and menopause 2) Identify any differences seen in different ethnic groups – both physiologically and culturally 3) Describe how those endocrinologic changes can affect current symptomatology and long-term health 4) Outline therapeutic options from lifestyle changes to over-the-counter medications to prescription drugs (nonhormonal and hormonal) for each of the manifestations of perimenopause and menopause

Parking: The Hotel provides valet parking only. The current overnight valet rate is $70.00 per vehicle, per night. Lodging Cancellations – Terms and conditions as per MCE’s room allotment agreement with conference lodging venue:
- Cancellation made 31 days or more prior to arrival: A full refund will be issued.
- Cancellation 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refunds will be issued.
- No-shows and early departures are considered a cancellation: No refunds will be issued.
