The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) is the accrediting body for family medicine continuing medical education (CME) in the United States of America. CFPC members who complete any live CME/CPD program accredited by the AAFP for Prescribed credit can claim the equivalent number of Mainpro-M1 credits. Canadian

Additional Lodging Information: 
Resort Fee: A reduced $25 daily resort/parking fee applies to all guest rooms and includes parking for one vehicle per room. This fee also includes: private beach access, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach/pool towels, resort activities such as bicycles, beach volleyball, lawn games including corn hole, resort-wide high-speed Wi-Fi in guestrooms and meeting space, fitness equipment, and unlimited local and long-distance calls. Special summer activities (end of June – beginning of September) include supervised Kids Club, beach yoga, live entertainment, popsicle happy hour, movie nights on the lawn, fishing derby, marine science classes, and much more (subject to change at hotel’s discretion).
Taxes: The above rates do not include any applicable state or municipal taxes, fees or assessments, currently 15.45%.
Check-in/Check-out: Guest accommodations will be available at 4:00 PM on arrival day and reserved until 11:00 AM on departure day. Any attendee wishing special consideration for late checkout should inquire at the front desk on the day of departure.

Parking – Parking is included complimentary with paid Resort Fee for MCE Conference Attendees. Parking will be offered to local and offsite clients on a complimentary basis during conference days for hours of the conference only, on a first come, first serve basis.

Lodging Deposit – One night Room Rate, Resort Fee and Tax will be charged at the time of booking. Up to 10 days prior to arrival (by 3pm EST) guest may receive a full refund of their deposit less a $25 admin fee for cancelations made. Any cancelation made (after 3pm EST) 10 days prior to arrival will forfeit their first night deposit. All lodging cancellations must be made directly with the lodging venue. Lodging Cancellations – Terms and conditions as per MCE’s room allotment agreement with conference lodging venue:

• Cancellation made 31 days or more prior to arrival: A full refund will be issued.
• Cancellation 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refunds will be issued.
• No-shows and early departures are considered a cancellation: No refunds will be issued.

Register & Book Your Lodging Early! The MCE reduced room rates will be available to registered attendees up until June 1, 2024 (based on availability). Our allotment for reduced room rates may sell out before this date. We urge you to secure your lodging reservation as early as possible. Reduced rates will also be offered for 3 nights pre and post-program dates (based on availability).

Room Reservation Guidelines – The lodging reservation link has been created for the MCE Conference continuing medical education program, and only guests that are registered for this CME conference are eligible to use this site in order to access discounted rooms and/or theme park tickets (if applicable).

• Attendees must register within (7) seven days of booking MCE discounted lodging to avoid cancellations or increased nightly rates (depending on Hotel/Resort policy).
• We allow a maximum of 2 room reservations per registered attendee, based on availability and rates at the time of booking.
• Rooms and/or tickets (if applicable) cannot be purchased for the purpose of, or with the intention of being resold.
• All reservations must be made under the registered attendee’s name, as all reservations and ticket orders (if applicable) will be audited against the CME program registration list. Should it be necessary, we reserve the right to contact you to request proof of registration. If it is discovered that the reservation and/or ticket order is not for an MCE Conferences participant, the reservations and/or ticket order may be canceled or modified based on the Hotel/Resort policy, and deposits may not be eligible for a refund.

Airport Information: The best major airports to book flights to if you’re travelling to Cape Cod are Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Theodore Francis Green Airport (PVD) in Providence, Rhode Island. Both are within driving distance of the islands, between 70 and 80 mi away.

There you can rent a car or take the scenic route to Cape Cod aboard the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority’s CapeFLYER passenger train.

Starting Memorial Day weekend, the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority operates the new seasonal CapeFLYER weekend train service from Boston to Cape Cod (just $35 round trip).
