Additional Lodging Information – Rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 9%) in effect at the time of check-in.
Check-in/Check-out times: Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Additional Occupancy Fee: Rates are based on single or double occupancy. There is an additional charge of $30 per person, per night, for each additional guest over the age of 18 staying in the room.
Pet Policy: Samoset Resort welcomes well-mannered dogs 30 lbs. or less. Guests bringing dogs will be charged $75 per night (current rate), per dog; maximum of two dogs per room. Their dog-friendly rooms are restricted to ground-level rooms only. Their higher floors and their timeshare units do not allow dogs. Further room type and location restrictions may apply. Guests will be responsible for any property damage inadvertently caused by their dogs. Certified service dogs that provide assistance to individuals with disabilities are welcome at the hotel and are not subject to the policies and restrictions described above. Resort Charge and Amenities – Rates are subject to a $35 taxable resort fee, per room, per night. The Resort fee includes access to unlimited local and toll free calls, in room coffee, wireless internet in guest rooms and public space, access to the business center, outdoor zero entry pool, hot tub and fire pit, outdoor recreation including tennis courts, shuffleboard, basketball court, pickleball, disc golf, volleyball court, croquet, shuffleboards, and playground, concierge service, children’s activities, and access to our state of the art full service fitness center including indoor pool, hot tub, locker rooms, steam saunas, strength room, fitness room, and cardio theater.
The Resort also includes access to their 18-Hole Championship Golf Course – ranked among the best in Maine, Golf Complex with clubhouse, Pro Shop, golf range, practice green, short game facility with bunkers, and restaurant. Samoset Scoring School offers private and group golf instruction with PGA professionals.

Lodging Deposit – All reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card or a first night’s room deposit, plus tax. All Reservations that are not cancelled seven (7) days prior to the arrival date will be charged as a no show to the individual’s credit card on file.
Lodging Cancellations – Terms and conditions as per MCE’s room allotment agreement with conference lodging venue:
- Cancellation made 31 days or more prior to arrival: A full refund will be issued.
- Cancellation 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refunds will be issued.
- No-shows and early departures are considered a cancellation: No refunds will be issued.
